Introduction
Responsible for the execution of Estates in line with the Bank’s policies, procedures and regulations of the Estate Act 66 of 1965. Further responsible for financial management of estate accounts and interpretation of Wills according to the Wills Act 7/1953.
Job description
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAS)
1. Administration of Estates
1.1 Execution of Estates in line with the Bank’s policies and procedures as well as the regulations of the Estate Act 66 of 1965.
1.2 Interpretation and application of the Wills Act 7/1953.
2. Customer Service
2.1 Ensure that clients/interested parties are handled in a professional manner, provided with accurate information about the Bank’s and the department’s products and services and correctly referred.
3. Sales Focus
3.1 Responsible for identifying selling/cross-selling opportunities related to estates and refer such opportunities and leads to the correct person, department or branch involved

Minimum requirements
Qualifications
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Advanced Diploma in Deceased Estates or equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor of Law or Similar Qualification will be an added advantage
Experience/Knowledge & Skills
• 5 Years estates and trust experience
• Knowledge of relevant legislation applicable to trust and estates
• Knowledge of Legal Ease Program
• Self-confidence and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate: (MS Word & Excel)
• Analytical and technical skills
• Product knowledge
• Accounting experience will be an advantage
