Introduction
To provide an excellent service for clients and staff. The main duty is the assistance to clients with the completion of applications for home loans and other property finance products. Obtain necessary documentation to finalize applications and forward it to Credit for assessment. Visit Estate Agents on a regular basis and build long lasting relationships with them. Make sure to get maximum business from them, check and complete applications and forward it to Credit for assessment and visit potential clients when required. Visit branches on a weekly basis or when need arises to assist clients and staff with the completion of application forms for any other banking products and to provide advice and excellent service at all times.
Job description

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

1.           Customer/ Sales Focus 

·       Service Excellence:  Delivering exceptional service to all clients, Estate Agents and Branches.  Has to ensure that clients are handled in a professional manner, the information provided is correct and that clients and agencies are correctly referred. 

·     Execution of re-active marketing activities:  Follow-up on leads, messages, PQ’s, Branch requests within the shortest period of time.

·      Regular feedback to Customers and Estate Agents with regard to loan applications:  Speedy turnaround time of applications and timeous feedback to Customers and Estate Agents.

·        Building & maintaining of good relationships with Estate Agents and Clients:  Regular visits to estate agents and phone calls to list to complaints and give advice when needed.

·    Confirmation of approved or declined applications to clients and Estate Agents:  A daily task after assessment of applications in writing.

·        Outstanding service to Corporate Department:  Applications must be finalized in the shortest period of times and constant communication with Corporate Officials on the status of applications at all times.

2.           Administration 

·      Completion of application forms:  To be completed correctly and in full and obtain all supporting documentation as soon as possible. 

·        FIA Compliance:  Get all required FIA documents, certified and attached to applications

·        Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports:  Timeous reporting of the Sales Reports with full details as required.

·        ITC & Bank Reports:  Daily tasks.

3.           Marketing.

·     Compilation of Marketing Plan:  Give inputs and assists with the drawn up of the annual marketing plan and monitor it monthly. 

·        Attend events:  like show houses & expo’s and present the bank and promote our products.

·        Contributes to initiatives of MCCS.

4.           Expertise 

·        Adequate Knowledge of Bank’s products and services and those provided by the competitors.

      Adequate Knowledge of systems and procedures.

·        Adequate Knowledge of Property Finance products and procedures. 

5.           Conduct 

·   Abide by and uphold the Banks “code of conduct” regarding:  professionalism, commitment, reliability, confidentiality, brand loyalty, behavior in public discipline, etc.

6.           Other duties

·        Willing to perform any other reasonable and lawful duties assigned by the management.

Minimum requirements

QUALIFICATION

Grade 12

Certificate in Banking or Sales Diploma from IOB will be an advantage.

Valid driver’s license.

Experience/ Knowledge & Skills

·            At least 5 years general banking experience, including 2 years experience in sales

·            Knowledge of the Banks products and service

·            Computer literacy essential (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

·            Budgeting and planning skills

·            Excellent interpersonal relationship skills

·            Skill in analyzing and evaluating financial information
