Responsible for the effective and efficient administration of credit activities as per the allocated client portfolio in compliance with the Bank’s credit policy and procedures in order to contain credit risks as per Performance Development Contractffective administrative management of the credit facilities in compliance with the Bank’s credit policy and procedures and containment of credit risk as per BSC.
Job description

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)KEY PERFORMANCE AREA (KPAs)
 
1.    Financial Management
Assist the Portfolio Credit Officer/Manager in the planning and execution of the Branch budget, e.g., margin management and credit-related non-interest income.
 
2.    Client Relationship
Management of client relationships by ensuring that clients are handled in a professional manner and information provided is correct.
 
3.    Sales Focus
·       Identifying cross-selling opportunities and referring such opportunities and leads to the relevant departments.
·       Develop and reinforce a sales culture in the branch.
 
4.    Credit Administration
Responsible for the effective and efficient administration of credit activities as per the allocated client portfolio in compliance with the Bank’s credit policy and procedures to contain credit risks as per Performance Development Contract.
 
5.    Minimum Requirements
 
5.1 Qualifications
·       Grade 12 with 4 years’ total with at least 2 years’ experience in credit.
·       Successfully completed credit and collateral modules be an added advantage

Minimum requirements

Experience/Knowledge & Skills
• At least 2 years general banking experience 
• Knowledge of Products and Services
• Knowledge of Business & Administration Procedures
• Knowledge of Credit principles
• Computer literacy essential (Word, Excel)
• Good Leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
• Skill in analyzing and evaluating financial information.
• Passion to work with numbers

QUALIFICATION
  • Grade 12
  • A Credit Diploma will be an advantage
