To be in control over all aspects of portfolio assigned and arrear accounts to prevent Legal transfer. Must be pro-active being responsible for providing of excellent service to all clients and improve and maintain good relationships with all clients.
Job description

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAS) 1
 
 
1. Credit quality
1.1 Accounts in arrears – number (Not to exceed norm)
1.2 Accounts in arrears – amount (Not to exceed norm)
1.3 Bad Debt in relation to total assets (Not to exceed 1%)
 
2. Credit Aftercare
2.1 Follow-up of irregular accounts
 
3. Routine Administration
 
3.1 Account Administration
Has to ensure that amendments on existing loan accounts are done timeously and correctly regarding:
o Monthly payment adjustments
o Processing client requests/adjustments
o Preparation & submitting of deferments to Credit Head office for approval
o Updating of charges recovered on demand letters, client visits and other costs recovered
o Notes on the system regarding adjustments of action taken
o Adhering to rules where property is rented out
o Identification of ICU/Special mentioned clients
 
3.2 Updating of debit order detail
Has to ensure that we have the correct banking detail for monthly debits.  All changes should immediately be noted and advised
 
3.3 Credit Head Office meetings Client’s with outstanding balance above 2 million with financial difficulties to have on time meetings.
 
3.4 Completion of O10’s
Responsible for O10 documents to be completed on time with the necessary supportive documentation, motivations and recommendations, with limited comebacks.
 
3.5 Reconciliation of office account
Has to ensure that funds received are allocated to correct bond accounts and reconciled on a daily basis

Has to ensure that clients are handled in a professional manner with accurate information, including details about the branch’s products and services.

Responsible to identify cross selling opportunities and refer such opportunities and leads to the correct person, branch or department involved.

The person should have adequate knowledge of the products and services that apply to his position.

The person should have sufficient knowledge of the systems and procedures that apply to this position to carry out work effectively.

Minimum requirements

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
•    Adequate knowledge of Banks products and services and those provided by the competitors
•    Adequate Knowledge of systems and procedures
•    Computer literacy essential (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
•    Excellent interpersonal relationship skills

QUALIFICATION:
•    Grade 12
•    IOB diploma an advantage
