KPA (KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS | KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
A) Routine Administration | · Monthly and daily reconciliation and balancing of office accounts · Accurate cost recovery according to the Banks prescriptions · Checking and control of daily activities in accordance with laid down procedures · Proper control of face value documents Conduct checking of FIA documents, Account Closures, Bank Confirmations, Referrals, Internal Transfers, Early Redemptions, Easy Wallet Reversals, New onboarding opening documents, Change of Customer information, Card Administration, auto Transfers, Ibank and Cell phone Contracts, Customer recalls, Waste bundles, Handling of Sales related queries, Balancing of Revenue Stamps, Daily Re-Investments and Early Redemptions. Action stop payments in accordance with procedures. · Effective management and control of investment, savings, current and general ledger areas to provide excellent customer service to the branches and to ensure that they comply with Banks rules and procedures in their daily operations • To proactively and continuously deliver service excellence to the branches • Management of data quality • Control of Old Records as per laid down criteria • Provide feedback to the branches on any outstanding items. • Act as first checker to ensure proper control of face value documents. • Perform all other duties as reasonably assigned. |
B) Customer Focus | · Provides professional customer service · Provide accurate information on the Bank’s products and services · Correct referral and direction of clients |
C) People Management | · Ensure that the right people are placed in the right positions in order to reduce workload, overtime and staff turnover · Effectively plan and conduct formal and on the job trainings to ensure that sufficient expertise are available to perform the job · Sufficient knowledge of staff and their duties to do effective evaluation in accordance the Banks guidelines · Correctly follow the directives in respect of personnel administration and ensure that documents are handed in timeously and correctly. |
D) Expertise | · Adequate knowledge of Banks products and services · Adequate knowledge of Banks procedural manuals |
E) Conduct | · Abide by and uphold the Banks “code of conduct” regarding: professionalism, commitment, reliability, confidentiality, brand loyalty, behaviour in public discipline, etc. |
Minimum requirements
CRITERIA | DESCRIPTION |
Qualification | · Grade 12 · MDP Program completion · Certificate in Banking will be an added advantage |
Experience | · Attainments (Knowledge & Skills): · At least 5 years general banking experience · Knowledge of Business & Administration Procedures · Computer literacy essential (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) · Excellent Leadership skills · Excellent interpersonal relationship skills · Passion to work with numbers |
