KEY PERFROMANCE AREA | KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
Business Knowledge | · Effectively translates customer demands/opportunities into commercial outcomes with an awareness to grow the credit offering facility · Takes responsiblity for effective and efficient administration of credit activities as per allocated customer portfolio in compliance with the Bank’s credit policy and procedures to contain credit risks as per Performance Contract |
Technical Knowledge | · Provides support to the Credit Manager in relation to planning and budgeting activities · Proactively monitors and identifies credit risks, and collaborates with the Credit Manager to develop mitigations actions in line with the Bank's risk and governance policies / guidelines · Efficiently identifies and understands possible risks associated with customer needs, and adheres to relevant risk and compliance requirements when executing on customers demands · Leverages detailed understanding of the Bank's products and offerings (e.g., Application of Overdraft, Credit Application, Early Settlement of Facilities, Personal Loans, etc.) to service customers · Continuously identifies cross-selling opportunities and refers such opportunities and leads to the relevant teams for processing |
Leadership | · Effectively manages customer relationships by ensuring that customers are serviced in a professional manner and correct information is provided to customers · Supports the Credit Manager with building and enhancing long-term working relationships with internal and external customers · Assists with development and embedding of a sales culture in the branch |

Minimum requirements
Qualifications

Qualification | · Grade 12 · Successfully completed credit and collateral modules would be an added advantage |
Experience | · 4 years work experience · Minimum 2 years experience in credit department |
Additional Information | · Alternatively relevant tertiary qualification in a Finance field · Psychometric assessment (must be on par or above the norm group for verbal and numerical assessment batteries) · Clear criminal and credit record · Must have access to transport(personal/public) · Flexible and mobile across regions · Knowledge of Bank’s products and services, credit principles, sales, and administration · Intermediate Computer literacy in Microsoft Suite applications: Word, Excel, Outlook and MSTeams · Excellent interpersonal relationship skills · Skill in analyzing and evaluating financial information · Report writing skills |
