Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
1. SERVICE:
• Maintains regular and a high standard customer contact to ensure a positive insight and reputation of our Bank’s role as a quality service provider in international business.
2. ADMINISTRATION:
Record keeping, Administration and following up on Export transactions:
· Diarising all Incoming Payments (MT103) uploaded on the Document Store by IPO Officers.
· Timeously releasing of Payments uploaded on the Document Store by the IPO officer.
· Ensuring Due diligence is done on Payments uploaded on the Document Store.
· Ensuring correct Payments and information is forwarded to the clients.
· Scrutinizing of documents received from clients before releasing payments.
· Ensuring correct Unique Consignment Reference (UCR) numbers are submitted by clients for Export Advance payments.
· Ensuring TIN Numbers are verified of on the Trade Verification System (TVS) system on all Export Advance payments.
· Forwarding Tax Certificates to Bon/TVS team to validate the TIN numbers.
· Ensuring correct documentation and information is forwarded to the IPO Processing Officer.
· Ensuring the Document Store repository is timely updated once Payments are actioned.
· Send weekly follow-up emails to clients about pending payments to stay within the 30-day Forex holding period.
· Ensuring that follow-ups are done with clients on payments reported as Export Advance payments
· Consistently send Follow-up emails to clients to obtain information to link TVS transactions that are older than 180 days.
· Submit supporting documents to BON/TVS for manual matching and provide notes addressing any discrepancies
· Assist with queries from internal and external customers relating to administrative duties
· Forwarding payments with complex scenarios to Excon and Supervisor.
· Resolving export element queries in the Bopcus error report from Excon.
· Reporting of non-compliance to the Regulator and Supervisor.
· Ensuring timely completion of the Inward quarterly report and submission to Supervisor.
· Attend to other administrative duties within the department in the absence of colleagues.
- Maintaining an open office communication line for answering clients' questions and providing helpful information to other callers.
- Exhibit professional conduct in performing day-to-day tasks.
· Performing any other ad-hoc task assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

· Sufficient knowledge of IBS products and services
· Knowledge of the systems and procedures within the Bank

· 5 Years experience in an international banking environment

Minimum requirements
QUALIFICATION
· Grade12
· Certificate in accounting (will be added advantage)
· Certificate in Banking (added advantage)
