Introduction
The provision of excellent service to internal and external clients. The main duties are the management and control over the processes prior the first instalment due on all new Mortgage Loans including Debit Orders captured on time, forwarding Stop Orders in time to Government and Payroll Companies, the collecting of monthly payments from companies and the capturering of payments on the system. Liaise with Payroll Companies on a daily basis and provide them with information on time when instalments change due to rate changes, re-advances or Annual insurance renewals and to keep and improve the relationship with these companies, clients and the government. Sustain the relationship with GRN Offices (Prime Min Office, Min Education, Min Defence, Min Finance and Min Safety). Assisting Collections Manager in acting position when Collection Manager is on leave.
Job description

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

1.     Administration

1.1.          Control over remittances of payroll lists to companies

1.2.          Control over collecting of payments from companies

1.3.          Control over capturing of payments received from companies

1.4.          Control over follow-up on non-payments from companies

1.5.          Finalising of weekly/monthly reports.

1.6.          Control over updating of data on the payroll of government employees through administrators of their payroll offices.

1.7.          Control over operating expenses and cost recovery

1.8.          Control over on time forwarding of Stop orders to Government Payroll offices.

1.9.          Liaising with Payroll offices on a daily basis regarding short or non-payments.

1.10.       Control over refunding of over payments and inform companies on time to stop deductions on paid-up accounts.

1.11.       Updating and uploading of Debit Order Authorisations on the system.

1.12.       Daily clearance of Rejected Items from Office account

1.13.       Daily reconciliation of Office account.

2.     Sales Focus

2.1.    Identify selling opportunities and refer such opportunities and leads to the correct person, department or branch involved

3.     Customer Focus

3.1           Provide professional customer service and give correct information to clients

3.2           Good relationship with payroll and HR staff of companies.

4.     Personnel Management

4.1.          Application and utilisation of personnel

4.2.          Personnel training, development and facilitation

4.3.          Evaluation of personnel

5.            Expertise

5.1.          Adequate knowledge of Bank’s products and services and those provided by the competitors

5.2.          Adequate Knowledge of systems and procedures

5.3.          Adequate knowledge the general workflow of all different Mortgage Loans.

6.            Other duties

Minimum requirements

Experience/Knowledge & Skills

·        At least 5 years general banking experience, including credit and, collections.

·        Knowledge of the Banks products and service

·        Computer literacy essential (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

·        Budgeting and planning skills.

·        Excellent interpersonal relationship skills

·        Skill in analyzing and evaluating financial information.

QUALIFICATION

Grade 12

Certificate in Banking or Credit Diploma from IOB will be an added advantage
