Introduction
To be in control over all aspects of portfolio assigned and arrear accounts, to prevent Legal transfer. Responsible for the management of visiting of all identified clients in arrears that the branch cannot reach by means of telephone/e-mails. Must be pro-active in being responsible for providing of excellent service to all clients, improve, and maintain good relationships with all clients.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
1. Credit Quality
1.1 Accounts in arrears – number (not to exceed norm)
1.2 Accounts in arrears – Amount (Not to exceed norm)
1.3 Bad Debt in relation to total assets (Not to exceed 1%)
2. Credit Aftercare
2.1 Follow up of irregular accounts and responsible to diarize dates and capturing of all notes on the system on a daily base.
2.2 Ensure all reports are attended to,concluded,and submitted on time as per instruction from credit department and branch timelines(weekly& Monthly reports)
2.3 Submission of reports to Divisional Head on agreed time line.

3. Routine Administration
3.1 Account Administration
Has to ensure that amendments on existing loan accounts are done timeously and correctly regarding:
Monthly payment adjustments and the follow up with admin department on finalization of requests.
- Processing client requests/adjustments as per signed and approved deferment.
- Preparation & submitting of deferments to Credit Head Office for approval.
- Updating of charges recovered on demand letters, client visits and other costs recovered.
- Notes on the system regarding adjustments of action taken.
- Identification of ICU/Special mentioned clients
- Responsible to issue article 11 letters and relevant documentation on time with proof of registered mail on file.
- Responsible for follow-up of Short term Insurance cover on all assists once accounts is on arrear list.
3.2 Completion of O 10’s
• Responsible for O/10 documents to be completed on time with the necessary supportive documentation, motivations and recommendations, with limited comebacks and risks identified per legal procedures and exception report submitted to branch.
4. Maintenance of Vehicles and Equipment
• Responsible to see that all vehicles and equipment in the department are well kept and maintained according to the Banks policies and procedure.
• Responsible for the control over all repossessed vehicles and the transfer of those to the custody of Aucor.

• Has to ensure that clients are handled in a professional manner and provided with accurate information, including details about the branch’s products and services.
• Ensure that the relationship with stakeholders are well taken of.
• Has to ensure that communication to clients on all levels are in accordance to our Brand and Value promises and that no valid complaints have been received.
